Program Manager, General Manager and Trusted Advisor in international FinTech

Born in USSR, living and working in the heart of Europe.

My specialization is managing teams and bringing to success complex programs in FinTech. Managerial education is supported by solid technical background and allows me to feel comfortable on both technical and managerial sides and also learn new technologies with ease. Through my career I've built good understanding of payment technologies and products and hence can manage large programs in FinTech, would it be migration to a new Payment Transaction Processing System or Greenfield launch of a product/business entity. I'm broadening my horizons by acting as an Advisor to start-ups.

I'm used to report to top-management directly and be responsible for P&L of programs and business units. This includes having 30+ employees (Engineers, Consultants, Architects, Project Managers) in my group, from multiple countries & of different nationalities; responsibility for delivery services for 10+ customers in EMEA region and running projects with 100+ participants involved. Multi-tasking and navigating across teams, departments, business units, languages and continents goes without saying.

Credorax Migration to WAY4 system, Israel/Malta/USA (2015)

Credorax is an innovative e-Commerce and m-Commerce acquirer. I've managed the full program: analyse requirements, configure WAY4 accordingly, deploy it in cross-continental cluster and migrate Credorax merchants to WAY4 system. Has been a success, took only 9 months from project kick-off to first production transaction on a new system. Challenging schedule, team in 5 countries and quite a few innovative products and technologies discovered on the way.

Rebooting relationships with SIX Payment Services, Luxembourg (2016)

After 5 years migration of SIX Payment Services Luxembourg to WAY4 system has finished but technical relationships between SIX and OpenWay required a boost. I took over the program and proved OpenWay capable to deliver new projects. Through this journey I've set up a different reporting structure and orchestrated new business models (Core Team, 3-party partnership with integrator) which proved themselves to be useful and profitable and brought us forward to doing new business with SIX.

Launch of new Issuing Processing in EMIS, Angola (2012)

Managing a project with a new Issuing Processing entity in Angola taught me patience and opened new cultural horizons. We have been able to push our way through, taking over tasks typically handled by Banks and have kept a good relationship which made EMIS one of the best customers for years after launch.

OpenWay Delivery Belgium Restructuring (2017-2018)

That year Belgium & Luxembourg Delivery team had to face new challenges - focus on service excellence and improve customer satisfaction. I've run the internal restructuring project, where Teams were rotated, responsibilities of Team Leaders defined, new KPI system established and ERP system migrated.
